- I have a program (STATMOST) which hangs on the 586 emplant. The
- program seems to run, but the pointer does move -- it just sits there
- and blinks. I suspect my conventional memory is low, so I tried to
- move some of the device drivers and DOS kernel into expanded memory.
- The highmemory manager won't load -- something about not addressing
- line A20 (I am using DRDOS 6.0 which generally seems to work fine).
- I know the extended memory device (EMM386) can't work since the
- emulation is of a 286 so my other question is how does one use extended
- memory (it can be configured in the memory control panel at emulator
- startup) and the bios window shows it is there. Any suggestions as to
- how to access would be appreciated -- have a ram disk and etc would
- help, I think, speed things up.
